The Cirro Multi Store is an optional component that provides an easily deployable data store for use as a staging area, workspace or datamart. The Cirro Multi Store includes a Hadoop cluster and a tightly integrated relational database providing SQL representation and functionality on an extended Hadoop/HIVE engine with an accompanying relational engine all accessible through SQL. Sample use cases include allowing the execution on read only data systems, providing security for data movement within federation, acting as an extra execution resource or possible home for data movement services. The Cirro Multi Store is optimized for the cloud, scalable to hundreds of terabytes, is quickly deployable and fault tolerant.
