motivated Customer Solutions Engineer to be part of our Customer Services team. In this role you will be responsible  for working with customers in technical presales as well as post sales implementation. This is a ground up position that requires hands on customer engagement as well as good customer facing
and presentation skills. The individual must be highly motivated, well versed in data warehousing,
big data & analytics, have previous start-up experience and ready for a challenge. You will be a
member of the customer solutions team and work alongside a small fast-paced group focused on
providing leading edge solutions to customers for integrating any type of data, on any platform, in any
environment.

QA Tester

us ensure that our products are delivered with the highest possible quality.

Cirro, Inc. is an exciting and fun place to work and advance your career. It is producing a market-leading product
in the data warehousing and Big Data arena which, for the first time, enables business analysts and Excel users
to query and analyze their data across multiple databases and types of databases (including Hadoop and other
NoSQL products) , wherever it is located. You will be working in a small, fast-paced, start-up team reporting to
the QA Manager, collaborating with developers and Customer Support. The company is located within a bike
ride of the beach, in San Juan Capistrano, CA.

You must have a passion for quality with demonstrable experience in QA processes, designing, writing and
maintaining automated JUnit tests, and SQL. You need to be a good oral and written communicator and have
the people skills to match, learn quickly, and work efficiently and effectively both independently and in a team.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Gaining a thorough understanding of our products and their architecture in order to produce good use cases and test plans that will ensure our products are of the highest quality
  • Designing, coding and maintaining automated and manual test cases using JUnit and similar tools
  • Configuring, executing, and enhancing test suites and frameworks, and performing directed and exploratory manual testing of new features, repairs, and documentation
  • Identifying and recording defects, summarizing and communicating results, and coordinating efforts of team members to ensure timely and complete resolution of defects
  • Working with other members of the Engineering Department to improve quality, testability, and maintainability of code, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing them
  • Ensuring that quality is a priority and built into all stages of the development lifecycle

Your required skill set includes:

What you’ll be doing…

The Sales Account Executive’s mission is to drive new customer acquisition for Cirro.  This highly motivated person must demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.  Success will be measured by their ability to secure new customers for Cirro’s Next Generation Data Federation platform, drive revenue growth through product evangelism, aggressive lead generation and relationship marketing.

To be effective in this role the Sales Account Executive must possess a strong and broad competency in Business Intelligence, Analytics and the emerging market of Big Data.  Coupled with strong industry domain expertise, the Sales Account Executive must demonstrate strong solution selling skills and the ability execute enterprise software sales transactions.

The Sales Account Executive must be a self-starter and be able to perform customer sales pursuits independently while articulating the Cirro value proposition, present our product offerings, and close contracts during the sales process.  The Sales Account Executive must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and must have the ability to effectively bridge the gap between the business and IT organizations. You must possess the ability to carefully listen to customer requirements, quickly adapt and shape technical solutions across industries and have a broad-spectrum of understanding related to business intelligence, analytics and Big Data solutions.

Some Key Activities/responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Independently (or with others) identifying potential leads through cooperative efforts with corporate marketing, networking, engaging our strategic partner channel, trade shows, public speaking, or other sources;
  • Relationship Development: Developing relationships with Client Executives, Accenture Client teams, Microsoft Sales, and potential buyers through telephone calls, personal emails, personal mailings, business forums, or social outings;
  • Client POC Stimulation: Engaging in activities focused at generating client awareness and opportunity via POC engagements that evolve into sales opportunity;
  • Opportunity Generation: Identifying specific sales opportunities within the market and engaging the appropriate sales resources for the sales pursuit;
  • Qualify Opportunities: Determining which opportunities we should pursue (e.g. highest probability of win, strong profit, alignment with strategic growth areas, etc.);
  • Determine Requirements & Deal Scope: Working with members of client’s team to determine requirements and/or specifications to effectively shape and win the deal;
  • Proposal Writing: Assist/participate in the development of proposals and response to RFPs, RFI’s, and RFQ’s;
  • Negotiating and Closing the Sale: Work with Cirro management and others to assist in the negotiation and closing sales with buyers;

Who you are…

The successful candidates will bring the following experience, education, and skills:

  • 7-10 years of real-world experience in enterprise software, BI, Analytics or related industry sales.
  • Previous experience in an early startup environment with a clear understanding of the culture and the expectations of the sales representative in a small, growing organization.
  • Proven experience selling new technology solutions to the Financial Services industry.
  • Ability to discuss complex technology applications and apply them in a business context.
  • Understand and have a point of view on how Big Data can help organizations improve their BI and analytic processes and make impactful business decisions.
  • Understanding of Big Data, BI, and Analytics technologies and how to sell enterprise software.
  • Proven ability to effectively solve identified business problems with cutting-edge solutions.
